Government's Maternity Leave Reimbursement Proposal

Last year, the government extended paid maternity leave from three months to six months. Due to this change, small and medium-sized companies faced a monetary setback. Now, the government is proposing to reimburse seven weeks' salary to these companies under the following conditions:

• For women who are in a pay scale of ₹15,000/month.
• Who have been registered with ESIC for the last 12 months.

I am seeking more information on this update. By when will it be implemented? Are there any supporting authentic documents? What is the procedure to be followed by the companies for it? What are the guidelines for the company of the expectant mother?
