I worked in a private company and received a bonus for the year 2016-17 in October 2017. I have since resigned from the job on 28th February 2018. I am wondering if I am eligible to receive a bonus for the year 2017-18 for the four months that I worked.

Could you please advise me on any relevant labor laws that I can reference to claim the bonus? I understand that I will need evidence to support my claim for the bonus.

If you have worked 30 days or more, in any accounting year, you are eligible for Bonus as per the Payment of Bonus Act.
