Dear members,
I have received a job offer from a very good MNC (KPMG). My wife is going to file a false dowry 498A and DV case. I was called by Mediation Center for counseling. When I applied for job I mentioned "NO" for two questions
1.Have you ever convicted of a criminal offense?
2.Has anyone ever filed/loged an FIR against you?
I mentioned "NO" because there was no FIR at the time of filling application. I will be joining the company next week, and I am expecting an FIR against me.
Will company expel me from employment because I mentioned "NO". The company will do background check post joining and find out FIR against me. The FIR is expected to be filed before one of week of joining date. Will KPMG consider it fraud for providing misinformation in application? I was going through Mediation counseling while applying job, but that is not a legal FIR so I mentioned NO.
I am nervous because I don't want to be expelled. What should I do? Shall I inform HR that an FIR will be expected when I join the company?
I didn't lie in application form or hid anything. There were no case/FIR, but I am sure it is going to be within a week I join KPMG.
Does 498A provide ground to a private company to terminal the job.
Please help.
Thanks

mere Filing of FIR against you can not be the ground for any contemplated action.Share Factual information about the case with your prospective Employer.make use of the mediation center, ongoing mediation/Counselling process.Opt for Divorce with mutual consent in the larger interest
