The issue is that there has to be a built-in deduction factor of Rs. 3000/- to reduce the take-home package. There will be a statutory income tax deduction on this income. Besides, house rent for accommodation is provided or leased by the company, or if there are any other welfare facilities like food, staff recreation, or a welfare fund, etc., could be considered.
