I work for a virtual company with employees in several states. We are considering adopting an unlimited PTO policy but also want to be compliant with the states' sick leave laws.

If you work in a virtual company, how do you manage providing PTO/sick leave for part-time employees? Do you comply with the laws in which state the employee resides or other factors?

Rules of leave are governed by the labor laws of the country. Your status is shown as you are from Lafayette, United States. Therefore, it is better if you raise this query in the forum where members are thorough in the labor laws of the land.

Most of the members of this forum are from India, and we are not conversant with terms like "PTO Policy." Hence, the suggestion.
