Which compensatory leave are you talking about, is it against paid holiday working or extra hours working please specify.

I am somewhat confused about your point regarding Compensatory Off/Leave. It is also called C-Off. These leaves are granted in exchange for paid working days.
It can be taken as a full-day leave by working a full day in place of a paid working day. Alternatively, it can be taken as a half-day leave by working 4 hours instead of a full paid workday.
