Can anyone suggest what the requirements might be if we introduce women to the shop floor? I mean, what changes or what things do we need if we introduce female labor to the shop floor?

Special Provisions for the Employment of Women in Manufacturing
There are certain special provisions regarding the employment of women in the manufacturing process in any factory. Some of them are listed below:
1. Section 27: Prohibition of employment of women and children near cotton operators.
2. Section 34: The excessive weight that a woman can carry is specified (30 Kgs).
3. Section 43: Separate washing facility for women employees.
4. Section 48: A creche has to be provided where the women workers are more than 30. Provision has to be made for breastfeeding of children.
5. Section 66: Restrictions regarding the employment of women.
Besides these provisions, which are applicable for shop floor deployment of women, there are other general laws like the Maternity Benefit Act and the Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace Act, etc.
