One candidate is there for whom we got a call for third-party verification from some other company and who is still our employee and didn't submit a resignation. He/she told us that because of a huge family issue, he/she is not able to come to the office for the last 15 days. Now another problem is we shared his/her profile with clients, and from there, we found out that his/her 2 years of experience is fake. This is an escalation for us. What action can we take for this kind of candidate? Please help me out.

Addressing Fake Experience in Employee Resumes
Call the employee to the HR office along with their manager. Discuss the matter with them and ask them to resign voluntarily, without the company being forced to take action. Fake experience has become a major problem.

I am sure the employee will understand it is better to quit on their own rather than being dismissed.
