I have recently received a job offer, as a result of which I have decided to resign. However, my notice period is 3 months. I am unable to fulfill the entire notice period as it is too long for my prospective employer to wait. In this scenario, can I provide a notice period of 1.5 months and have the remaining 1.5 months' pay deducted from my full and final settlement?
