Hello sirs,

I don't have a UAN and PF number from the place where I worked for a few days and left a few months ago. Now that I am joining another company, I need that UAN; however, my previous employer is not providing it to me. I attempted to retrieve it from the member portal, but I encountered the following error message: "Entered information does not match with any member." I have attached a screenshot for reference. Please assist me. Despite providing all possible mobile numbers, I am still receiving this error.

Thank you.

Sir, the screenshot of the page is attached. Please tell me what I should do. They had informed me that they have linked my Aadhaar with my UAN, so I can access it this way, but I am still unable to find it. Please help.

It is compulsory to every employer to provide UAN number to all the employees, If your employer is not giving please write a letter to PF Commissioner cc to Enforcement officer they will help you.

I don’t see a reason for an employer not to share this piece of information with employee. Try reminding them again, before taking extreme actions.

Dear Anamika,

You have stated that you have only worked for a few days. For how many days have you worked? Has your salary been paid to you with PF deduction? Perhaps the employer would not have remitted PF contribution for the few days of work. Only after the creation of UAN/PF Member ID - Aadhaar Number can be seeded. Find out from your employer the factual position.

Sir, I worked for only 12 days. Yes, the salary was paid after PF deduction, but the UAN or PF Member ID is not mentioned in the payslip. However, since they have deducted PF, they must have deposited it somewhere. According to them, they had linked my Aadhar with it. Still, I am unable to access it using the EPFO portal.

Dear All,

From an employer's point of view:

1) A resigned employee has to submit all NOCs from the market (Sales Employee) or Department (Office Employee).
2) A resigned employee has to submit all company properties (ID card, files, laptop with charger, mobile with charger & accessories, car with keys).
3) A resigned employee must pay notice dues.

If all the above is done, then I don't see any reason why the employer should deny the UAN.

Sohail
