Hi, let me start from the beginning. I worked as a content writer in a small company for about one month and realized that this is not what I want for my career. I then decided to give "HR" a shot. I started attending interviews and eventually landed a position in a consultancy. I worked there for four months, but due to reasons like targets and the work environment, I recently left the job. I have determined that I want to pursue a career in HR, but I currently feel that I lack the right opportunities. Therefore, I would appreciate your advice on this matter.
I have a Bachelor's with Honors in English from DU. I am currently pursuing a Master's in English from IGNOU. I am planning to pursue an MBA in HR (Major) and Operations (Minor) through distance learning. Additionally, I intend to undergo HR-related training this summer.

I would suggest that you first study and understand what the HR function is all about. At this stage, you are and will be a 'Learner' in the HR function. So, as you have planned, take admission for an MBA in HR and simultaneously apply for junior-level jobs in HR at the ground level. Working for recruitment agencies will come with business targets. Instead, apply for fresher jobs where your previous 4-month recruitment experience can help you secure a position. But first, plan your career and then take the next step.
Parameters for Career Planning
Your parameters for career planning can be as mentioned below:
1. Do you find the functional area for a career interesting?
2. Do you feel you will learn and demonstrate the skills required to be successful in it?
3. Do you feel it is a long-term career for you where you can climb to the next levels of growth?
4. Are there any crossroads of multitasking available for the future to be with the changing business scenario?
Please ask these questions yourself and study the functional area to understand what it constitutes.
