Dear All,
I am an HR professional working in Gurgaon. We have a sexual harassment complaint redressal committee that includes senior members of the organization. However, as per Vishakha guidelines, we need to have a third party as a member of the committee, which can be an NGO or any other body familiar with the issue of sexual harassment.
I am seeking your advice on how I can find and approach these bodies to be associated with us.
Thanks,
Ruchi

Hi Ruchi,
It is advisable to get in touch with the legal team of your company if it has one. Also, any member from the company's legal (lawyer) team can be a member of ICC in place of an NGO member.
Dear Seniors,
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Dear Pravin,
Many thanks for your suggestion. Can any lawyer be a part of this committee as an external member (if he has knowledge of such issues) in case we do not have any legal team?

Dear Ruchi,
As far as I know, yes, we can have a lawyer as one of the ICC members. In my organization, we have our legal team, and they have suggested having a lawyer as an external member of the ICC if we don't find a member from a Non-Governmental Organization.
