Hello,

Please help me clarify a query regarding maternity leave. Suppose a woman is having a 3-month maternity leave and she extends her leave for an additional 3 months, which results in Loss of Pay (LOP). What would be her normal leave eligibility for that LOP period? In other words, will she be eligible for Earned Leave/Casual Leave/Sick Leave during that period? She joined the service after taking 6 months of leave. Please confirm.

She is not eligible for any leave for the period after ML is over. Remaining 3 months will be treated as LOP only until she joins back.
