As per the Garments industries minimum wages G.O. notification, we have paid the arrear wages to employees from Feb-16 to June-16. Additionally, EPF arrear contributions have also been remitted.

My question is whether ESIC contributions for arrear wages should also be paid for the previous period. I would appreciate it if seniors could provide clarification on this matter.

If it's not on a regular interval, you could skip the ESI contributions for your arrear payments. What I understand from your question is that you failed to disburse the wages as per the minimum wages notified by the government. yes, you have to give both the employee & employer contribution from the arrear wages paid for the said period.
