Our company's factory and office building are on the same premises. Is it mandatory to get registered under both the Acts and follow the related norms for the respective places, i.e., the Factory Act for the factory and the Shops & Establishment Act for the adjacent office?
Please help me sort out the problem.

Thank you, Mr. Peer, for the information you shared. My question, however, was different. I wanted to know from HR professionals with experience in a manufacturing company where the factory and office buildings are located together, which policies they follow when deciding on leave and other HR policies. Do they maintain both Factory & Shops & Establishment registrations? If they do, then which act governs the HR policies?
