Hi everyone, I received an appointment letter from Accenture. Due to some reason, I was not able to complete my degree. I have been working in a company for the last 3 years as an outsourced resource, using my fake BTech degree as there isn't much document verification done for outsourced employees. Now, I have received an offer from Accenture for a role in their company. Can anybody suggest if I should go for it? I will manage to obtain a proper experience letter from my current employer, but I still don't have my degree. Will they also conduct educational verification even if I present a proper experience letter from my ex-employer?

Background Verification in IT Companies

NASSCOM has laid down guidelines for background verification, and big IT companies at least follow proper procedures for background checks. As the English saying goes, "One rotten apple spoils the whole barrel," a bad hire can negatively impact the remaining workforce. Employment screening and background checks are vital for maintaining workforce integrity and safety. So, in my opinion, the company will conduct proper checks.

Educational checks will almost certainly be carried out. One needs to eschew the practice of producing false certificates, as they can prove very costly in the long run.
