Hi powbos,
I have seen your email. Let me share with you whatever little knowledge I have about the resume pattern. Please note the following points:
a. Your resume should start with your name, email ID, contact mobile number, and residence number. This information should be presented in a box design. At the corner of the box, you can include a scanned copy of your latest photo.
b. Below this box, you should include your mission or goal statement, explaining what you are looking for or what you plan to achieve in your career.
c. Begin with your present employer: provide a brief profile of the organization. Under the title "job profile," describe your responsibilities and functions.
d. Following the same process as described in point C, list your previous employers and continue until you reach your first employer. Include the duration worked, dates, years, etc., to demonstrate your job stability.
e. After listing your employment history, detail your achievements employer-wise.
f. Start with your educational qualifications, any short-term courses completed, and training courses or seminars attended, including dates.
g. Next, include your personal details such as date of birth, age, marital status (optional), passport number (optional), residence address, languages known, skill sets, and references (optional, available upon request).
h. End your resume. Always have a cover letter ready in a format that can be included with the CV if required.
This is my suggestion, and I follow the same procedure. I hope this will assist you, and I encourage other senior forum members to provide their valuable tips as well.
All the best! God bless.
