I am an IT engineer working in a branded company for the past 7 months. My total experience is now 3 years, and my present CTC is 5.55 L/annum. Due to a bad work culture and too much politics, I am not able to work to the best of my abilities and would like to switch to a company with long-term career plans.
I am not a regular job hopper. This is my second organization in my career so far, and I worked for 2.4 years in the previous organization. Considering this, what salary hike can I expect? How much percentage salary hike should I ask for as I have no intention to switch in the near future? I am looking for a stable career.

Thank you all for your time and opinions. I have received an offer with a 40% salary hike. I believe in taking a practical approach and following my heart. Why should I work in a place where my sensibilities don't match? With all humility, I don't believe in the old-school thought of a bad resume as everyone is looking for quick solutions, especially in the IT field.
