Hi guys,

I would like to know something about NSR registration. I am working in a BPO for 2 months and I am NSR registered. I was looking for a job in the IT field. I have received an offer from an IT company. If I don't serve the 1-month notice period and abscond from the company, will it create future employment problems because I don't have the relieving letter? The company threatens the employees by telling them that they will be blacklisted if they abscond. I need help; I want to join the IT company in 1 week's time.

Hi Sri,

It is always recommended to complete your formalities with the previous company so that you never face any issues in the future. However, if it is necessary for better prospects to leave immediately, you have two options: either disclose to the present company that you are not serving the notice period or do not show that previous experience.

Thank you for your reply! I attended an interview with an IT company as a fresher only. I didn't include my BPO experience because I had only worked there for 2 months, and I knew this experience wouldn't count. I want to know what will happen if I abscond from the company. Will I face future employment problems, and what will be updated in the NSR? Can a company prevent me from future employment?

Hi Arman Ali,

My name is Arman Ali. I have 6 years of experience as a Software Engineer. In my experience, I worked for the first 2 years with Sunil Infotech. However, the company is now closed, and I only have an experience letter from that company. I want to register with NSR for my verification. How can they verify that company when it no longer exists? This situation seems fraudulent to me. If I do not mention that company, there will be a 2-year gap in my experience. Please help me with this issue.

Please reply to armanali786.1985@gmail.com as soon as possible.

Thank you.
