Let's see in what roles we are performing our duties in the HR arena in the UAE. Could someone please help me with how payroll is run in Dubai and how WPS comes into play? I have been looking all over for information regarding the same but unfortunately can only find payroll software vendor info, which I don't want. Please help.

It's a pleasure to introduce myself to this forum. I have 7 years of experience working in different industries such as BPO, Recruitment Consultancy, IT/ITES Enabled Services (India), Inflight Catering (Shj. Airport), and Logistics (DAFZA). Currently, I am in the Real Estate industry. My contributions in these industries were in the HR and Admin Departments at various positions. The most fascinating job for me was when I joined the Logistics industry, where I succeeded in setting up the HR and Admin Department all alone and running operations not only in the UAE but also in other GCC countries.

It's good to know that CiteHR is active in the UAE too; it's a great feeling. I landed here on a visit visa and am staying with my relatives. I have a total of 10 years of corporate experience, and for the last 3 and a half years, I was running a recruitment company in India. I have worked with companies like Tech Mahindra, Vodafone, and Patni, mainly in talent acquisition and, to a lesser extent, as an HR Generalist. I have applied to all matching openings on the largest websites, such as BAYT.COM, GULFTALENT.COM, and CHARTERHOUSE.COM, but there has been no call. I am ready to start on a low salary. If any of you can help me, I would be thankful.
