Monthly Return Format Under Maharashtra Factories (Amendment) Rules 2012

I am attaching the format of the monthly return (Form 27A) introduced for the first time under the Maharashtra Factories (Amendment) Rules 2012, notified on 3.1.2012. This return must be filed electronically by all factories by the 10th of each month.

It should be noted that a wage sheet providing employee-wise details of wages must also be filed with the return. For factories with fewer than 10 employees covered under Section 85, they shall file the monthly return for three months at the end of the quarter.

Mandatory Submission of Annual Return

Submission of the annual return in Form No. 27 is mandatory for every establishment that has obtained a license under the Factory Act of 1948. The submission deadline is on or before the 10th of January every year. Additionally, Form No. 27(A) must be submitted electronically every month.

Dear All,

I want to know the applicability of the ambulance. If the number of employees exceeds 500, the rule states that we have to provide an ambulance room with adequate facilities. However, the factory officers say that both the ambulance and the ambulance room are applicable.

I kindly request you to help me understand where exactly and in which section of the factory rules it specifies the requirement for both the ambulance and the ambulance room.
