I have read somewhere that vehicle drivers are classified into three categories, namely Cat-I, Cat-II, and Cat-III, depending on the quantity of load they are carrying in their vehicle. This is for their categorization as skilled or highly skilled for paying them minimum wages. For example, Cat-I drivers are in the highly skilled category since they are carrying more than 12 tons of load. Could anyone please refer me to the Act or Rules where I can find these regulations?

Thanks and regards,
Gautam
