Hi, my name is Santosh. I left my last organization in February 2014, and while leaving, I filled out a PF application form to claim my PF. I know it usually takes 45 to 60 working days for the PF money to be credited to my account, but it has been over 9 months, and I haven't received anything yet. I used to work for a startup, and every time I call the accountant, he gives me excuses like the company's PF number is not registered properly, and it will take a month to get things on the right track.
Seeking Advice on PF Claim Issues
Can anyone advise me on what I should do with the PF money that was deducted from my salary every month? I have a PF number on my salary slip, but when I use that number to check on the PF official website, it doesn't provide any information. I am tired of calling my accountant every month, as he always comes up with a new excuse, and now he has stopped picking up calls altogether. There are about 7 to 10 of us who have not received our PF money yet. Please let me know how to proceed further.
Thanks,
Santosh

There could be various reasons:
- It is likely that your employer may not have paid your PF amount to the EPF office.
- It is a good idea to visit the local PF office sometime and check with the PRO there.
- If you are from Bangalore, I can help you get the details. Please send me your PF number if you or your employer are based in Bangalore.

Sandeep

Thank you for your advice. Yes, I am from Bangalore, and I spoke to my ex-company accountant again today. He said he submitted my form two weeks ago. I am trusting him for the last time and will wait for the next month. If the money doesn't come to my account, I will go to the PF office. Can you help with one more thing? If I go to the PF office, what exactly do I have to ask? With my company name, can they find out whether they have submitted my form or not, or does my company have any PF account?
Thanks,
Santosh
