I have a query related to full and final settlement. If an employee resigns in the middle of the month and gives a 7-day notice period, with the last working date being in the first week of the following month, will they receive their salary for the current month (the month in which they resigned)? Or will they receive it as part of the full and final settlement?

Your guidance on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

If an employee submits their resignation, they should be relieved subject to the terms and conditions of their appointment order. The full and final settlement shall be done separately without waiting for the payroll of others. The salary should be paid until the date of their relieving day. Always keep full and final settlement records in their personal file, which may be needed at any time.
