I'm working in an organization where there is no PF and ESI deduction for employees earning below 15k in salary. Could you please guide me on how to address this issue and specify the correct amounts for ESI and PF deductions?

Hi Rajni, please clarify whether you are working in a company or an agency. If you are working in a company, then you are hired under a contract. It is possible that your company is not registered under the ESI or PF Act.

You have not disclosed the nature of your organization, whether it is a factory, shop, or any other establishment. For ESI coverage, it is also necessary that the establishment, i.e., factory or shop, must be situated in an area where the ESI Act, 1948, has been enforced. Therefore, kindly clarify these details so that comments can be provided.

Regarding coverage under the ESI Act, 1948, you can also contact the nearest Branch Office of ESIC to discuss the issue of coverage and compliance of your organization under the said Act.
