The Haryana State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in its order dated 2.9.2013 (copy attached) has held that there is no provision in EPS for the restoration of commuted pension. Therefore, once a pensioner opts for commutation, they are entitled only to the balance pension on a monthly basis.
