I am really sorry if I am unable to explain my question.But I dont understand what do you mean by discussing with Line Manager.My problem is extremely clear I have 45% in 12th but I have firstclass in BTECH and also 7 years of experience.Now because of that 12th percentage I was not allowed to attend a walkin in a reputated software MNC,Now what I want is to know whether if ever thay will consider that situation or this startegy will continue for ever because if that continues I will not be able to work for any MNC ...

Dear Alladin1111, I had the same issue which you are facing 5 years ago... All you need to do is expand your skill set in various technologies...
For example you say your skill set is java... If you develop your skills in freelance android development or jsp development etc... within a year or 2 companies will come to you and you no need to reach then... This is what exactly happened to me... now i am with decent income as a freelancer that too i have 5 employees under me i am unwilling accept jobs arrived me from few mnc's...
Yes being punished for lower percent in young age will be frustrating... there is no other way for you... because companies have certain policies to restrict candidates... Few companies have minimum criteria as 75% and few other 60%... some companies give jobs even if you have 50% throughout your career.. but for 45% you need to prove yourself some thing dramatically in the skillet which you have now...
I am able to understand your question that without attending interview how can you prove yourself... (Yes you can prove in various other means of freelancing activities and developing some useful software or a freeware ) Then i am sure you need not reach... you will become destination.

I have seen so many people even with 40% that work for top MNC.With 45% percent in 12th you were able to get Job in software Industry, so why cant you get the job again. Just wanted to know if current company in which you are working (Hoping 7 year is a full genuine experience) is at least the registered company. I have seen 50% throughout is the criteria for only 1 Indian MNC. Apart from that, most of the other companies has no criteria at all.

Also the job apportunity depends on your location as well. If you are in big city like bangalore, you will have more oppurtunities &
more chances of getting selected.
There is one thing called urgent requirement , this is where you have best chance to getting a job in a MNC organisation. I have myself worked in top mncs & given so many interviews, that why i know in which case you have better chance.

i am sorry i cant reveal the name of my current company but the company in which i applied but was not allowed to sit for referral was CTS (Cognizant Technology Solutions).My experience is 100% genuine please refer to my previous posts as I am tired of repeating the same thing again and again.Otherwise it would be a great news for me and obviously if I get in an MNC I will surely not waste my time posting here..
It would be kind of you if you please name the only company which has 50% throughout criteria

I have seen many cases where the criteria are relaxed by big MNC's. First they hire the people as contractors, then they make them permanent. Please do not name any specific company in this forum. Also if you are chasing any specific MNC then best of luck, otherwise there are so many MNC's that do not have criteria at all. They just need experience.It also depends whether you are working in support or development.For support jobs the criteria is much relaxed as compared to development profile.
