Hi Meena,
Let us know whether this is an off roll job (On 3rd party roll) or on Company roll.
Normally, when company appoints freshers for Marketing/Sales function, new recruits will be under breathing period or honey moon period for about 3 to 6 months. The purpose of this is to train them and make them a better sales personnel for their company.
According to me, Expecting immediate result from a fresher in sales is not fair. Company should give him/her required training before assigning the target. After giving trainings, they can surely expect the business.
Though the target for her is very low, Company has to train her in a better way to achieve the same.

Dear Meena ,
Demanding jobs are good for the ones who wants to grow that highway. Stay focussed on what builds your capabilities. Not every role is meant for every one. However, when we are treading our way into the careers, we learn something from.
This job allowed to understand how a demanding role pushes your limits. There are highs of performing and achieving the targets . Even the best performer had failed at some point of time.
The coping skills of seeing how each little learning takes you ahead is the prime goal. Every skill can be learnt, mastering it takes time. If you want to continue in the same vertical, consider spending time till you master them or move out.
Whichever way you go, do congratulate yourself for trying out something so challenging . Wish you all the best !

Dear Meena,
There is nothing like right or wrong in this. It entirely depends on the company to set standards for the executives joining the. If you ask from my experience I can say, never ever they fire a fresher for non performance if they are convinced that the person is putting efforts. Now it is the job of the person to work sincerely and report regularly to his superior, so that he/she is convinced that this employee is serious. In sales line these kind of threats are always there to create pressure on freshers so that they perform. Some Managers prefer hand holding and pampering in initial days and some believe in creating pressure. Just learn to live with it for sometime. Things will fall in place. There is nothing right or wrong morally here

Dear Meena,
What I can make out from your communication is you are probably just beginning your career. These are initial teething problems we normally face. Sometimes as a fresher we don't understand how to behave or handle situations, thereby causing irritation to our superiors. Sometimes also when you are all correct, you may get an unreasonable boss, who takes action against you to save his own skin. Another reason is if overall revenue of the company is dropping they start cost cutting. Dropping junior most executives is the first thing they do. Even companies like Infosys, ICICI , Wipro has done that at some point in time. so no need to feel bad. Just try to cope with it. If you are a sincere and honest worker, doors will open for you. Only be cautious about one thing that, Is there any negativity you are unintentionally communicating during working.

Meena,
I am it able to get a clear understanding of your problem, first because you are not specifying your locus standie in this matter, you are not also stating why it's your problem. Second you are using SMS lingo which makes reading difficult.
The employee has been asked to sell 2 cards a month
She is given a minimum of 1 credit card a month ! Below that she will be terminated.
If an employee can not sell even 1 item of a low end job, why will the company keep and pay her salary ?
Even for a fresher, selling credit card is not rocket science. It's a question of persevering through a database and speaking to as many people as possible, then following up rigorously till they say a yes or no
