Dear Seniors, I am working in the automobile industry, and my company is registered under the Factory Act. My query is, should salary slips be provided on a monthly basis as an employee's right, or should they only be provided if an employee requests a payslip? Please help me with this. My company consistently deposits salaries at the end of every month without fail, but only employees who request it receive their salary slips regularly.

This is very common in companies, especially small-scale industries and companies run by proprietors who do not wish to provide your salary slip for various selfish reasons. Apart from being mandatory as highlighted by @Mathew, you will be surprised to note that such practices are carried out by so many companies without any fear. This is due to the pathetic condition our so-called custodians of the Labor Ministry are supposed to address for us, the service class employees.
My Suggestion to You:
1. Every month, ensure you and other staff demand your salary slip without fail.
2. Create awareness amongst your staff that it is their right to receive the salary slip when the salary is deposited.
3. Ensure that this issue is discussed and debated loudly, especially during office meetings and also during leisure hours in the office.
4. Ensure all leaders (TLs, Managers, etc.) are reminded of this request every week without fail.
5. Ensure that at least three employees write a request to the CEO/GM/whosoever is in charge about this issue once a month and ask for their intervention with your HR/Finance department.
6. Last but not least, don't give up. Laws are made for our protection, but it needs leaders like you to make those laws "act on our behalf."
