Hi, I resigned from my job a year ago, and now I want to withdraw my PF. When I checked my PF balance online, it showed as follows: EE 45758, ER 20880. Could the experts help me calculate the amount I will receive as a final settlement? Also, please advise if any tax will be imposed on my PF amount.
Thanks in advance.

Double the EE amount and add the ER amount to it (EE*2+ER). It would be better if you could check your balance by registering on the EPFO website. Use the following [Member Portal](http://members.epfoservices.in/employee_reg_form.php) link to register for your E-Passbook.

A quick research will tell you that your 12% goes into PF. The company's 12% is divided as follows: 3.67% goes towards PF, and the balance of 8.33% goes to the pension fund.
I am not sure how accurate the online numbers are since this has been recently made live. I have known people who have had inaccurate numbers. It would be best if you referred to your yearly slip that gets circulated from your office.

Hi, I'm Vikram. I had worked for 2.5 years. My Employee's EPF (EE) contribution was Rs 22,500, and my Employer's EPF (ER) contribution was Rs 10,300. When I applied for PF withdrawal, I was given an amount of Rs 17,000. What happened to the rest of the amount? Will they deduct a large sum as tax since I withdrew it before 5 years? Could someone please help me out with this issue?
Thank you.
