Provident Fund Claim Process

The provident fund can be claimed at any time after two months from resigning and before the expiry of 36 months or 3 years. To process your PF, it will take a maximum period of 6 months. The government will give you interest at 8% on the total amount of your provident fund.

Absolutely right information. Also, everybody can know the claim status online during the processing period. Even other employees can now check the PF balance in their EPF account, which is a new feature implemented by EPFO. Currently, this process is only available in some major cities facilitated by EPF.

Thanks and regards,

You can claim your provident fund money anytime. Just recently, I settled a claim for an employee from 2001. The only requirement is that after a certain period, they would like an attested copy to confirm that you are the same person claiming the provident fund.
