Inquiry About BAMS/BHMS Doctors in Factories

I want to know if BAMS or BHMS doctors can work in a factory. According to the Factory Act, the qualification for a doctor is MBBS and AFIH. Is it acceptable for BAMS or BHMS doctors to work as medical assistants alongside male nurses or in place of male nurses?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Unfortunately, most of the training courses in occupational health/medicine are limited to doctors with an MBBS degree. For example, only MBBS doctors can do the AFIH course in India. A UK-based company called Global Workhealth Ltd offers a distance learning postgraduate training course in occupational health, which you should be able to pursue. Just search the company name on Google for more details. I am certain that the course will enhance your chances of securing a job as a factory medical officer.

I hope this information is useful to you.
