Dear all
I\'m working as HR Trainee in a service based company for the past 6 months. Due to family issues i\'m in a situation to look out for a job in my native location.
The thing is i have signed 1.6 years of mutual agreement and also according to company rules i need to serve notice period of 90days. And also i have problem in getting reliving letter during probation period(1 year).
So kindly please give me suggestions regarding job change.
What i need to do now? Based on your replies only i need to take decisions.

Hi Priya Yes surely there might be little impact of that. You will be not in a position as to show the experience of 6 months as you are not fulfilling the relieving formalities.

Dear Ms. Priya Vbs,
Relieving is the short, polite and positive part an Employer refer to the completed seperation of the employee from the organization. Employer provides a note of your experience and time frame for your tenure which is imperative and weighs your participation in the organization.
Why do you think, employers in recent time ask for atleast a resignation acceptance? Have you ever thought of; If not, its time for you to judge by yourself and be prominent in the shoes of the employer. Your answer is what you questioned.

You resigned with some reasons is ok but i would like to know the responses on your request to get experience/relieving letter by them or the problems you are talking about.
I second, Sharmila Ji , wanna know whether your resignation is accepted or not and If your resignation is accepted, you can ask them to provide you experience letter with the details as explained by her above.
Second. The F&F statement can also help you in this regard that always contains the work period of an Employee. However, the most important thing that you have to take care of that the demand and questions on the same by your new recruiters/Employers, what and how you explain this to them when you will be asked to provide your present employment details/information or experience letter. Therefore, it would be better to convince your present employer by a humble request and providing your valid reason of resignation.

Hello,

Relieving letter is a formality and in reality your "experience and learning" on the job that you are about to leave is more important that the said letter per se`.

But in the present day world, a new employer will want to be certain that he is not taking on board a deserter, traitor, a dishonest employee or an incompetent employee and there is nothing wrong in such expectations. But "relieving letter" or at least "resignation acceptance" letter assures the new employer that you do not belong to the above mentioned categories. It is therefore in your interests to not go into a frenzy and desert your present job carrying a "liability" of not being able to convince new employers of your credibility. And competence without credibility will yet be a problem now and in future!

However is you state the facts and the new employer accepts these, you could leave the present job successfully without getting your profile/prospects tarnished!

A safe approach will be follow the custom and get relieved properly. If you wish to either take a chance or if you have to take a chance, the outcome will remain unpredictable with greater chances of things going against you that for you!

Three months is not so long a period that you should risk your career for this deemed urgency. It is perhaps better to find ways and means to contain the urgency that to stake a career!

Your decision will depend on your situation which only you know best. We can only wish you well!

Just talk to your hr team and appraise them of your problem
I am sure they will take a sympathetic view of you need to leave due to family issues.
Follow their suggestions on how to resign and serve the notice period.
No sane company will want to force a person to work when they don't want to. But fulfilling a notice period is essential.
In the worse case scenario, you will not have a relieving and experiance letter. You may not be able to show the experiance at this place. It's not the end of this world. But I still think serving notice period is essential
