Hi,

I have been receiving a salary from my company without any payslip. I will be asked for my 3-month payslip for my next interview. So, what should I do because I do not have any payslip? Can you give me suggestions on what I should do now? Or should I submit a fake payslip in this situation? Please send me a payslip format.

Hi,

You can tell them that you were not getting payslips in your company. Don't go for any fake payslips. If they insist for any proof, you can produce your bank statement which will prove your monthly salary credit.

  • Hi Avinash,

Please do not resort to such unfair practice of producing fake formats of payslips, as you could easily get caught during the employment verification process. Instead, ask your current employer to provide salary details or a Salary Certificate on the company letterhead, duly signed and stamped. You can inform them that you require it for income tax purposes, availing a bank loan, or submission to your CA.

  • Dear Avinash,

I would definitely not recommend creating a fake payslip entirely on your own. If I were your boss, I would have suggested that you create the payslip format (perhaps after downloading from the internet or creating your own format) and then getting it signed by a sympathetic but senior officer (such as the HR Head or the Head of your department) because these documents are often required for loan purposes. However, under no circumstances should you create a fake payslip on your own. If there is any mistake not apparent to you, your loan might be refused, and worst-case scenario, your name could even be blacklisted.

    Hi,

Have courage to honestly and clearly communicate to the new company that your last employer did not provide any salary slips to the employees. Therefore, as proof of salary, you can submit only your bank statement. However, you will make an effort to obtain salary details or a Salary Certificate from them.

If your last employer did not provide salary slips, it is not your fault.

It is strongly recommended not to engage in any unfair means. Remember, honesty is the best policy and always wins hearts in the end.
