We have an IT company, and the Shops and Establishment Act is applicable. I would like to know if an employee is eligible for 24 leaves annually after confirmation for one year. How should these leaves be distributed monthly?

Leave Allocation Details

Specifically, I would like to understand the allocation for:

- Paid Leave
- Sick Leave
- Casual Leave

Please provide your suggestions.

Thank you, Sir. Actually, we calculate it on the basis of 24 days in a year: 12 paid leave days, 6 sick leave days, and 6 casual leave days. However, it is applicable only to confirmed employees.

Could you please explain how it is applicable to permanent employees? In which scenarios can confirmed employees use these leaves during the year?

I have created an Excel sheet for all these queries. Please go through it; it will automatically calculate (by default) and also manually calculate leaves per day. I hope this will solve 99% of your problems.

Thanks,
