I have joined a pharmaceutical company, which is a startup located in Andhra Pradesh. The headcount of our company is 9, including medical representatives and other administrative and accounting staff. I have already registered our company with the AP Shops and Establishment Act.
Seeking Guidance on Statutory Registrations
Could you please enlighten and educate me on what other necessary statutory registrations I should make? As an HR professional, what implementations or ideas can help me demonstrate that I can be an asset to my company?
Your support is highly appreciated. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Is it a manufacturing company or just a distribution company? If it is a distribution company, then you should enroll with PT, Commercial Tax (Sales Tax), and Drugs License. For the sake of employees, you should also enroll with ESI and PF.

Dear Jeevarathnam, Thank you for your reply. We are in distribution. The company has completed drug license and sales tax registrations. I would like to express my doubt regarding ESI and P.F. Currently, the count of employees is 9. Hence, are we eligible? Please suggest some ideas where I can contribute to my company's growth.

Hi Yes. You are applicable for enrollment of ESI & PF. You shall opt for voluntary enrollment for those. For the growth of the organisation you should design required policies & procedures.
