I am working on a module for first-time managers. The module is a training program we intend to give to newly promoted managers about people management skills. Has anyone worked on similar modules? If so, could you share it with me?

Yes, I have worked on it. It totally depends on the organization culture and structure. You can do a power point presentation dividing it into different modules.
For example:
1. Policies: Policies where manager should have hold upon like leave, exit etc.
2. Process: snapshot of process where manager approval or intervention is required.
3. Information System: Tools that they have to use to raise/approve/reject the request
4. POC of support staff: Give the information of point of contact of every support staff where as a manager he would interact.
5. Do’s and Don’t’s of a Manager.
