Let me introduce a game called Chris-ma - Chris-child.

It is a lovely game that is played in almost all corporate houses and other offices. It's a popular game where the spirit of giving gifts is celebrated. This game starts in the first week of December, about 15 days before Christmas.

Rules of the Game

This game has certain rules. Everyone picks up a chit with a person's name written on it. The person who picks up the name is the Chris-ma, and the person whose name appears on the list is the Chris-child. Now, the Chris-ma is supposed to give gifts to his/her Chris-child, and the Chris-child should not know who his/her Chris-ma is. The Chris-ma must remain a secret; he/she will leave gifts for the Chris-child where it will reach him/her.

Normally, the Chris-ma will leave the gifts on the Chris-child's desk when he/she is not there or ask someone to hand it over without revealing the identity of the Chris-ma. On all the days leading up to Christmas, gifts will be given. Then, on a specific day (two days before Christmas), the Chris-ma will be revealed to the Chris-child, and the Chris-child ends up giving the Chris-ma a gift. It is a thank-you gift for having left presents for all days and also a way of wishing a very Happy Christmas.

Fun and Engagement

It is fun playing this game. The Chris-ma can leave instructions for the Chris-child, asking him/her to perform some tasks, wear a particular dress or color, wish people in a particular way, etc. It depends on the imagination of the Chris-ma. It is fun if the Chris-child follows all the instructions. It is all fun and games, and one is supposed to let one's hair down and join in.

This will even help the teams come out of their shells and help understand each other's tastes and act upon the instructions to overcome shyness.

It will be a good game to introduce in corporates, MNCs, and all kinds of organizations.

Try it out to see the results. Have fun.

Regards,
Avi
