Are you out of your mind?? This is not an ethical demand that you are making here on this professional and esteemed place. How can you ask us for this??? Do you have any idea what you are asking about here...
Well, I would suggest you please avoid this in the future. If you want the sample CV/Resume format, you can go to Mr. Google for this but should not ask anybody on this place for this kind of stuff. This is a professional place, and people are here to share knowledge, experience, to learn, and for guidance, not for this kind of things.
Hope you understand what I'm trying to convey...

If you are a recruiter, I can understand your need to find fake resumes. It is very difficult to identify fake resumes. However, there are various signs to determine whether a resume is fake. You can find more information on other websites.

Dear Satyasarathi,
I am also a recruiter and know that SAP is one of the profiles topping the list of a higher number of fake CVs. Hence, your question is quite valid. One of the tips to identify fake CVs is that a wider area of work is covered in the CV. Moreover, you may invariably go for antecedent verification checks.

Hi all,
If you hire for freshers, then why do all fake experience certificates come? All companies are hiring for at least 2 years of experience. Just want to ask you all one question here, How can a candidate gain experience in SAP if he is not hired as a fresher?

You are right Mr. Santosh and I buy that but we are here talking about adding fake experience (FAKE PROFILE/CV/RESUME).
There is no one who was never ever fresher in his/her life; we all have started from 0. Being a fresher one have to give a start to his/her career life on basis of strong education and understanding of a subject/field which is a basic requirement. And if one will start his/her career life with adding fake experience in profile, he/she can do so but how will one get the actual and practical experience. And you are also well acquainted with it. Do not take this as a “FRESHER” but it is a beginning which is not a crime.
And who told you that freshers can’t get placed or can’t get any good job. Guess you forget about Campus recruitment where none of single experience candidate can be found.
For SAP profile, I wanna say here that one need to earn required qualification first and need enhance his/her skills so that one can show the recruiters a good candidature.

I cannot understand why you are so defensive and offensive about fake resumes. It actually poses as a headache to recruiters and companies. Training costs escalates. Kindly take cognizance of the matter and advise accordingly. Kindly control the urge to be judgmental. Try to keep a neutral view of things.
Sathyasarthi First, as far as the problem goes you might go for a background verification post selection of the candidate/existing employees, the depth of which depends on the level/position. There are companies which will assist you in this.
In case you cannot afford them, you can always verify what is on resume by seeking references from their previous organization. You can ask them to fill a ref check form and have it sent through mail id. Where there are bulk hires, its best to outsource this job.
Second, a small aptitude test/practical demonstration will go a long way to catch the fakers. If you are working as a recruitment consultant, you may collaborate with your client on how to catch such candidates.
Thirdly, if the skill set is an absolute pre-requisite for the job, then any remaining apprehensions can be removed in the interview(recommended to seek client's help).
Lastly, it's not easy to catch all the fakes at the same time. They keep innovating so even you need to innovate. Try to look for data inconsistencies, and prob it in an interview.
Most liers will generally flounder.

Hey, I have faced fake candidates, and I know the pain. You are right, using a fake resume is wrong indeed. However, here Sathyasarthi may be new in HR and may be facing the same problem in identifying fake resumes. So, I think before blaming anyone, one should know and make sure what the intention of the other person is. I am sorry if you felt bad about any comments or words in my post.

Hi,
I think making fake resumes is very wrong. One who has suffered because of it is ought to be offensive about it. Anil Arora (Lucky) might have thought that Sathyasarthi is looking for sample fake SAP resumes, so he is being judgmental, though it is wrong. However, his concern is right. He might have quoted it in other words to get the intentions of Sathyasarthi clarified. I am sorry if any of my words, comments, or intentions in this post hurt you.

Chitra, no issues dear, and thanks for your response on this. As we all know what is wrong and what is right for us, but sometimes people try to take the easiest way to establish themselves and use such methods without realizing what they might lose in the process. I just want to convey that one should not resort to using fake profiles or experiences because although one can present it on a profile, it cannot be applied in practice, which is the fundamental and actual requirement.
In my earlier response, I mentioned that being a fresher is not a crime; we all were beginners at some point in our lives and started from scratch. I also provided the example of campus recruitment and basic education/skills to illustrate what one should or should not do.
You don't need to apologize or anything because criticism is also essential for all of us. It provides us with more opportunities to learn and develop ourselves in the right direction.
I personally believe that everyone must accept this reality.
"There is no one who can prove you wrong or right except yourself. Initially, you are the one who knows yourself better than anyone else."
Guys, do whatever you feel is right for you and your future from your heart. Best of luck.

By and large I have learnt a great deal, having said that I will still take side with shyamali on his/her stands in her admonish statement.
Anilkr.arora, please take note of the correction and replicate in your further judgements.
In the same light it is also right to give a fresher as it may a fair ground to introduce his/ her difference into the coy and not to keep them at bay with the experience thing “everybody started from zero” Anilkr.arora.

Thanks for your understanding. Sometimes English does not communicate our thoughts the way we intended due to reasons such as interpretation learned in school. However, we can express our thoughts in a very mild way so that it gives grace to the hearer.
Consider this statement: "Common, bring that biro for me." It sounds harmless, but the undertone depicts unwarranted authorization. I hope you understand what Shyamali was trying to communicate.
Look at this one: "Give me that biro over there."
My thoughts though.

Anil, being a senior member, you need to reply appropriately. I don't think the person who raised this post is out of his/her mind. There are definitely many fake resumes, and by asking this question, we may just find out and contribute to ideas that help us to identify fake resumes. Nothing personal, but the moment I read the start "Are you out of your mind?" I asked the same question to you. I don't think the person has raised any unethical question. CiteHr also has posts of love, and if that is acceptable, a question about fake resumes is definitely much more important and relevant to HR practices.

Greetings,
The discussion was raised to find out the signs in a fake resume. Here are a few of the points:
- The areas covered are broad and wordy, without being specific and data-oriented.
- Operational details will be few.
- The propensity to push the resumes for a higher level responsibility than what the designation says.
- The client-oriented information would be minimal.
- Tall claims about accomplishments.
- Technical skills as shared would differ from what the individual shares in the introductory phone call. Most of the time, individuals don't remember what they have put in the resumes.
In case there are more technical ways to test, please share.
Regards,

I am coming late to this discussion; however, I wanted to raise a couple of points.
Firstly, there seems to have been some confusion about what the OP was requesting. Like many of you, I initially thought that he/she was up to no good. However, I am now inclined to the view that the OP is in a recruitment role and was looking for ways to identify fake resumes. These are the problems when English may not be your strong point, and you cannot adequately explain what it is you are seeking.
On that point, it behooves everyone, even those of us who profess to have good English skills, to make sure that we frame our requests and questions in an unambiguous manner. If English is not your strong point, try to have someone else check your question first before posting it.
Secondly, identifying fake experience on resumes is not easy. (Cite Contribution) has posted some good suggestions that may help.
I have no direct experience of recruiting technical people, but in areas where I have worked, all such candidates were given a technical interview and practical test first.
For those of you who follow my posts on CiteHR, you will note that in recruitment questions, I always say that you MUST have a proper position description and person specification for the job. From that, you will know the mandatory requirements and skill level the prospective candidate must have. From that, you sift through the applications and find the most suitable people to interview. The questions you ask MUST be based on the PD and PS. So many people on this site are constantly asking for lists of generic questions. THAT WILL NOT WORK. Questions must relate solely to the position on offer. That way you get the person you need who has the appropriate skills and qualities.
Unfortunately, you will never eliminate cheating. People are desperate to find jobs, and lying on resumes is now a worldwide problem. But if you have a proper, robust recruitment process in place and follow it to the letter, you can minimize the problems and hire the right staff for your organization.

Hi Guys,
I have one of my acquaintances who is an MBA (Finance) + BCom graduate and has been trained on SAP FI/CO by a training/HR placement organization in Bangalore for a specific fresher requirement (trainee on contractual pay). Unfortunately, the organization is unable to place anyone. The reason could be anything. Not sure until now.
(I know many of them have foregone other opportunities, both functional and IT, to become SAP consultants). Now, all of them are literally confused. Can anyone help in placing these people, or at least one, as they are ready to take up anything and everything as a fresher SAP Consultant?
I'm sorry to post this request. I felt that if the right opportunity is given to people who have invested so much (effort/time) to become SAP consultants, the prospect may not lead to temptations. Hope I'm not violating anything by posting this; if so, please excuse!

What is this argument about... It's unnecessary. The fake resumes question about Satyasarthi (excuse the pun) was indeed not right. Also, if his English was misunderstood, he could have clarified it later, which he did not. So don't argue. Good HR needs to handle situations properly instead of chaos.
