Dear Seniors,
Greetings for the day!!!!
Kindly let me know about the detail information of form 3A and form 6A and also help me out to know whether DA exists in the gross salary, because as I heard that the DA is almost zero for each and every sector.
One thing I want to know also that whether HRA is also a kind of DA?

Hi Shweta,
Form 3A is an annual statement of PF contribution of both employee and employer for individual employees where as Form 6A is the annual statement of PF contribution of all the employees working in the organization. Form 3A states only the contribution of the particular employee where as in form 6A, you will find the contribution of all the working employees.
Generally DA or Dearness Allowance is a component of your salary which mostly the govt sectors use separately in the salary break up. But in private sectors, DA is included in Basic. Again some private companies use both separately.
DA increases with inflation in the market. With the increase of price of basic commodities, the Govt. increases the DA of govt employees. DA and HRA are different. HRA is House Rent Allowance.
I hope I am going the right way. If any of the seniors know better, may please correct.
Thank you.

Dear Sir,
Thanks for the clarification. For form 3A and 6A ,I have understood perfectly, but for DA,when I went through the labour law book,it has been written that DA is not constant,it depends on the inflation and example has been given like HRA.
So I am having some confusion.
