Provident Fund Claim Process
The provident fund can be claimed at any time after two months from resigning and before the expiry of 36 months or 3 years. To process your PF, it will take a maximum period of 6 months. The government will give you interest at 8% on the total amount of your provident fund.

Absolutely right information. Also, everybody can know the claim status online during the processing period. Even other employees can now check the PF balance in their EPF account, which is a new feature implemented by EPFO. Currently, this process is only available in some major cities facilitated by EPF.
