Hi Haru12,
Have you seen what your friend included in the presentation? He is no longer focusing on statistics but is employing a deceptive marketing tactic. He aims to connect individuals from companies to other organizations and bring professionals from the industry to educational institutions, simply to oversee them and generate profit. If there are any other activities being carried out through his campaign, please inform me.
Thanks,
RK.

Hi Dr. KR,
I am not playing any marketing tricks. This is a genuine research work. I am pursuing my doctorate at the National Institute of Technical Teachers Training and Research, Taramani, Chennai, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. V. Thanikachalam. This is an interdisciplinary research (Computer Science - Engineering Education).

Hi, Dear,
I have carefully gone through all the questions you included in the survey, as well as the stars (which indicate mandatory fields). To my knowledge, if you are ignorant, I don't mind. However, there seems to be no proper purpose in the survey questions other than to exploit organizations that recruit candidates for training programs for freshers and to understand the needs of organizations sending their faculty to academic institutions. I am confident that companies have moved past this stage at least 6 years ago.
I suggest focusing on more relevant work for your doctorate rather than revisiting this old topic. If you are interested, I can assist you with some topics that have potential for exploration.
Thanks,
DRKR

Hi,
Competency is different from skills, which people tend to interchange. Knowledge will tell you only what to do; that's all and no use per se. Then we require skill, which will only tell you how to do... no use. Finally, and importantly, the right attitude is crucial. That tells us what to do (that is passion, commitment, perseverance, etc.). All this knowledge, skills, and the right attitude put together give you competence.
In the IT field, the same principles apply, and in fact, in all fields.
