Roles and Responsibilities of a Business Development Executive

As the title suggests, as a Business Development Executive, you need to look after the marketing opportunities available within the company. You need to be thorough with the Company Profile, Product Profile, Company's Mission, and Vision so that you understand the company thoroughly. Then, you need to endorse the same to your clients.

You need to prepare presentations for them and reach your target audience to promote your product or service to prospective clients. These will be your basic responsibilities as a beginner, and your duties will grow exponentially with time.

Thank you for your reply. It's very helpful. However, I would like to know where we should look for prospective clients. As I am more focused on creating PPTs, company proposals, etc., I am not directly targeting potential clients. It would be great if you could assist me with this.

Dear MK, Sorry for being late to reply. The company that I am working with deals with the training and placement of candidates after providing them training in Networking, i.e., CCNA, CCNP, CCVP, etc. I am finding it difficult to work as a Business Development Executive as no guidance is provided. I am making presentations, proposals, etc., for the clients, interacting with them; however, I do not know where to look for new clients and how to proceed. I need help.

Thanks,
Zaiba
