Understanding the Role of Supervisors
We all understand that the supervisor plays a crucial role as the intermediary between shopfloor employees and management. Therefore, it is imperative that the supervisor is fully aware of their responsibilities.
Please find the attached file related to the same. Kindly provide your comments.

Dear Shailesh,
As you have sought comments, I respond to your request.
a) If you are going to make a presentation, I would recommend that you can be concise with the content under each bullet point (not more than two lines). The descriptive part of the bullet can be explained by you during the presentation.
b) You might consider changing the color of the font. Red is typically associated with the workforce category, and you would likely agree that the supervisor is more of a management representative. In my opinion, black should be okay.
c) The role of a supervisor also includes collecting objective data on PQCDSM (Productivity, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety, and Morale) by plotting Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE), Performance Efficiency (PE), Machine Availability (MA), Quality Rating (QR), MTTR (Mean Time To Repair), MTBF (Mean Time Between Failures), Accident Rate, Severity Rate, Statistical Quality Control, and Measurement Systems Analysis. There is a lot more of this data available on websites for you to collect.
d) These suggestions are provided because the days of conventional supervision are gone. Nowadays, managements demand objective results from supervisors rather than just controlling workers.

Dear Shailesh,
First of all, thank you for sharing such a nice presentation with us.
Few Opportunities for Improvement are as follows:
1. I agree with the comments made by Mr. M.V. Kannan. You may need to modify the presentation. When there is too much text on the slides, the audience may get busy reading instead of focusing on what you are saying. Therefore, it is advisable to use bullets and explain more concisely.
2. Since the audience consists of Supervisors, to make the session more engaging, consider including pictures or videos in the presentation.
3. If deemed necessary, include the responsibilities of Supervisors (Middle Management) as mentioned under the Factories Act. This will help them understand that we are not just expressing our thoughts but that they are also bound by the law. I believe it will have a more significant impact. I have attached a presentation with a few slides that you may consider including.
Please find the corrected text above. Let me know if you need any further assistance.
