Improving English Skills: A Guide

If the problem is written English, get hold of a good high school grammar book, such as Raymond Murphy's "Elementary and Intermediate," and complete it from the first page to the last. A lot of times, we collect books and materials but only read a few pages, seldom completing them.

If the problem is spoken English, find someone to practice spoken English with every day and ask him or her to help you with your mistakes. Finding such a person may be difficult, but it would be extremely useful.

Also, check out spoken practice-based English speaking programs like the one offered by BodhiSutra.com.
