[TWO SEEDS:]
Two seeds lay side by side in the fertile soil. The first seed said, "I want to grow! I want to send my roots deep into the soil beneath me, and thrust my sprouts through the earth's crust above me... I want to unfurl my tender buds like banners to announce the arrival of spring... I want to feel the warmth of the sun on my face and the blessing of the morning dew on my petals!" And so she grew...
The second seed said, "Hmmmm. If I send my roots into the ground below, I don't know what I will encounter in the dark. If I push my way through the hard soil above me I may damage my delicate sprouts... what if I let my buds open and a snail tries to eat them? And if I were to open my blossoms, a small child may pull me from the ground. No, it is much better for me to wait until it is safe." And so she waited...
A yard hen scratching around in the early spring ground for food found the waiting seed and promptly ate it.

Excellent story. It gives everyone a message of coming out of the comfort zone if one wants to become big or prosper.
Fetus in the mother's womb is a nice example of being in the comfort zone. The fetus has to do nothing there, gets oxygen and nutrition passively, thanks to the mother, who takes every care for the yet-to-be-born child.
In fact, the first step a human being takes is coming out of the comfort zone when the fetus decides to come out into the world to become its own identity.
From child to school, then college, and finally a job, these are transitions where there could be fun as well as testing times in this tough world.
No one has ever flourished by sitting in the comfort zone.
However, at some point in time, people may be scared of coming out of the comfort zone and possibly then stop growing.
The 'Story of Two Seeds' by Kanika is an important message for all of us that do not remain in the comfort zone if you want to grow.
There was a Marathi Poem written over 5 decades ago which translated says:
'Do not stop as those who stop have a possibility of getting extinct. The one who runs, gathers strength and finds the (fruitful) road ahead, as time goes forward (only).'
Compliments to Ms. Kanika once again for putting such a huge theme in a nutshell.

Dear All,
Thanks a lot for all your comments!
"Sharing knowledge is not about giving people something or getting something from them. That is only valid for information sharing. Sharing knowledge occurs when people are genuinely interested in helping one another develop new capacities for action; it is about creating learning processes."

Having a positive attitude, I tell you, is the best thing that can happen to anyone in any circumstance, especially in situations that seem challenging and daunting. Co-workers might make you feel like working alone is the best option, and bosses might frustrate one's life as well. However, what one should keep in mind is that no man is an island. Besides, all these experiences are lessons for us to learn from and to help us become better individuals. By doing so, we can learn how best to relate with difficult people in all spheres of life while maintaining a positive outlook and attitude. The more we live like this, the more respect we earn, especially from people we thought weren't watching.
