Hi Frens What can we do "If Leave is not Sanctioned to employee but he takes a leave" I m working for a BPO, And right now i have this situation, Now what i have to do. Thanks Jyothi

Hi Dear, Leave is not a matter of right of employee it is a benefit to employee. Kindly convince your HOD stating your cause for availing leave. Hope your HOD will understand. Regard’s Shaikh

Leave is not a right; it is a privilege given to an employee. If a person becomes absent without proper approval of leave, it is considered as absconding. You can issue a show cause notice, and if you do not receive any valuable and reasonable reply from the individual within the stipulated time period, you can further initiate administrative/disciplinary action against the employee as deemed fit.
