Hello all,
I am very new to citehr and also new to the job. I am working in a manufacturing company and am very keen to experiment with my job profile. However, the company I am working for is not flexible about its policies. I want to know what changes and new procedures I can implement and how I can improve myself.

Greetings,
I understand you have a repetitive job in the areas shared. The best way to beat the boredom is to brainstorm and improve the system. How old is the HR system you are managing? Is the organization at a stable stage or still evolving? You may consider the following suggestions:
- Identify the areas of improvement in your current processes.
- Start with building a FAQ for all your processes.
- Create the flow charts for the process and map it with minimum time duration and least dependability on any factors.
- As you prepare this, identify the bottlenecks and duplicate tasks.
- Keep troubleshooting every bottleneck. If you have a problem in trying that alone, try and post it in this community in the accurate forum. Our esteemed members and experts would help you resolve it.
Other than this, please study different practices for employee engagement, training and development, compensation and benefits, HR Audit, and benchmarking. Identify what is most relevant to your organization. You may not have the freedom to implement them, but the entire effort would prepare your HR Intelligence for a higher level.
HR analytics is another area which you might consider. But please remember, no matter how good an HR Scorecard might look to you, the success of the implementation would depend on the culture of the organization. So moderate your implementation respectively.
Hope this helps.
Regards,

Dear Cuti :-),
All metronomic work is boring. Only you have to adjust to these situations and make them exciting. As you have just started to work, don't do any experiments in haste. First, analyze the company, your boss's temperament, and your subordinates' deportment only then you put your hands into experiments. Take them into confidence and put your first step and see the changes.
