Do any companies have standard policies these days?
ESI is suppose to be 4.75 % from employer side and 1.75 from employee and here 6.55% is flat deducted from Employee side. Isn't this something strange?
There is no pf also... And working hours are 10hrs more weekly so , 40hrs more monthly which is too much.
But i guess everywhere this kind of scenario is there apart from some standard companies.

They r deducting wrong ESI.. U have quoted right contributions. Also, not everywhere timings r of 10 hrs. standard rules n regulations per shops n establishment act apply.

This type of problem is common specialy in hr field. you have to do just one thing that is improve your knowledge from youe peers or friend circle or such networking sites.I am also face this problem few years ago but i continue my work and improve my knowledge .
