Should workers be evaluated formally? Why or Why not?

Hi Morti,

If you talk about workers and formal appraisal, it is like asking the watchman during the selection process if he has presented any paper at a conference. Formal appraisal is not needed first; you can easily evaluate the performance of the worker from their productivity. Then, workers are not in a position to do self-appraisal or tick the scales, etc. So, I think there is a need for a different type of appraisal which is effective in their domain.

Dear Friend Generally KRAs and goals are fixed for employees. For workers, you can define "Standards" based on which you can evaluate their peroformance. Regards BHAVAN
